Fuzzy Frenetic Focus

Fuzzy Frenetic Focus is a 12in. x 12in. mixed media painting on canvas using plater wrap acrylic paint, and acrylic ink. The surface features a harmonious blend of pinks, gold, copper and deep blue contrasted with a bright aqua swirly lines which pulsate throughout the heavily textured picture plane. In this piece I am using the colors and textures to represent different mental states I experience. The fuzzy and frenetic being the main blend of colors and the focus being the aqua. I often times feel the deluge of reality as overwhelming and chaotic, living for the moments where I am able to cut through this jumbled blend and synthesize it into a small moment of peace and clarity.
